This woman is no stranger to the world of entrepreneurship! In fact, she will tell you it runs through her DNA. Lena Graham-Morris comes from a legacy of passionate entrepreneurs, her family has sustained and prospered as third generation builders and dominate the Southeastern region of the United States with six offices. Lena has been instrumental in establishing critical strategic partnerships securing over $180 Million dollars in contracts.

Lena brings over twelve years of not-for-profit experience.  Her journey includes program and curriculum development for Mothers Rebuilding Atlanta. She served as the Director of Community Affairs for Healthy Start and worked over six years with PBS/NPR which included being recruited as the On-Air Fundraising and Membership Manager for Central Florida’s stations WMFE/90/7. She continued her not-for-profit career as the Director of Business Development and Marketing for the Metro Orlando Urban League. Lena was a critical component in bringing Three Mo’ Tenors for an encore performance and securing $300,000 in funding for the event. Lena also worked as a key member of the core team that hosted the first National Urban League conference in Central Florida.

Lena has also had the privilege to serve in the capacity of Director for the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida for over three years, where she facilitates small business programming and events; including procurement opportunities and supplier diversity initiatives. Also, she was the lead for creating the operational infrastructure under the current AACCCF President's Administration while producing over fifty events, workshops and seminars dedicated to the economic development of entrepreneurs and small businesses.

In addition, Lena has also been successful with her business ventures, media, and makeup extraordinaire to say the least. While procuring multiple contracts with companies including Universal Studios, Walt Disney World Resorts, she also brokered production agreements with top networks such as VH1, BET, Oxygen & Entertainment Television. Lena launched Studio 277 Productions and created and co-produced a nationally syndicated talk show Style Check in addition to numerous appearances on TV and radio as a recognized beauty expert.

Her story of triumph and perseverance is one of a strong woman of color who will stop at nothing to succeed. In the words of The Entreprenista, “The absolute test of one’s character is the ability to lose as gracefully as you win.”

Lena’s work in the business environment is but a part of who she is. She also finds time to donate her skills in the community. She sits on the boards of several organizations: Clarita’s House Outreach Ministry which feeds the homeless on the streets of Central Florida, Infinite Scholars Program which facilitates scholarship fairs for high school seniors across the state of Florida, National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and Dress for Success.
